The Effect of Giving A Warm Blanket to Changes in The Central Temperature of Postoperative Patients with Subarachnoid Block Anesthesia in RSSA Malang

Introduction: Shivering after anesthesia subarachnoid block is a common complication seen with an incidence of 40-60% anesthesia. One the post pharmacological shivering management given warm blanket. Experimental research was carried out in Conscious Installation Room Central Surgical RSSA Malang. Aims: The purpose this study to determine effect providing blankets on changes central temperature postoperative patients benefits are improve quality care for surgery, accompanied by events. Methods: design Quasy-Experiment Random Sampling technique, and sample size 20 respondents, two groups: control treatment. groups respondents' were evaluated noted before treatment giving every 15 minutes 60 minutes. Result: test results average difference second p = 0.0142 α 0.05 showed significant differences concluded that post-anesthesia block. Conclusions: Non-pharmacological hypothermia using electric blanket warmer more effective because blanket's can be maintained stable so heat transfer process does not decrease due cold environment.
